Super easy to assemble and incredibly easy to follow instructions. I built this bed by myself. You'll definitely want to use a box spring with this bed as the center supports are very weak. If you're handy I would recommend it installing your own under bed supports on the 1x1 piece of wood that they have that spans the entire length of the center of the bed. I replaced it with a 2x4 and put some bracing under it. You can buy the braces on Amazon they're just called under bed support braces. Great bed for the price and we put a memory foam mattress on it and we are very happy.If you do some aftermarket bracing you will have to cut the trundle bed down that goes under the main bed because it won't slide all the way under if you have a brace. It was easy to do and we use it for storage now. All in all very happy with the purchase.
